Prazoscin have Omeprazole contain which is an anti-ulcer medicine used to reduce the release ofacid in the stomach. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPIs) that decreases the amount ofacid produced in the stomach. High amount of acid in stomach may cause Stomach andduodenal ulcers, gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.Stomach acid helps break down proteins from food but too much stomach acid can causeproblems like ulcers and heartburn. Prazoscin is an effective medication to reduce acid levels inthe stomach as it works to block the acid at the source. Prazoscin is useful to reduce acid release in the stomach by blocking hydrogen-potassium ATPase, which is an enzyme that increases acid levels. By reducing therelease of acid, Prazoscin can help treat various stomach disorders such as ulcers andheartburn. While taking the medicine, avoid spicy, fatty & oily food, alcohol or anycaffeine drinks or beverages i.e. tea, coffee or cold drink.
