Finscia have Finasteride as an active component which is used to treat hair loss in men. It helps to increase hair growth and prevent further hair loss with male pattern baldness. It is used as the first line of treatment by the dermatologists to slow down extreme hair loss. Finscia is used to treat male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia) in men, a condition that develops in up to 80% of Caucasian men. Treatment with Finscia slows further hair loss and provides about 30% improvement in hair loss after six months of treatment with effectiveness persisting as long as the drug is taken. Finscia leads to a reduction in scalp and serum DHT levels by lowering scalp levels of DHT. Finscia can maintain or increase the amount of terminal hairs in the anagen phase by inhibiting and sometimes reversing miniaturization of the hair follicle. Finasteride is also used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate. Finasteride is a 5α-reductase inhibitor and therefore an antiandrogen. It works by decreasing the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by about 70%, including in the prostate gland and the scalp.

Finasteride is used to treat male pattern hair loss in men. It is also used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate. Finscia is recommended for use in men only. Take this medicine by mouth with or without food usually once a day or as directed by physician. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to use it at the same time each day. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting doctor. It may take 6-12 months to notice a benefit.
